Owner & Stylist
I’m Jasmine, and I am a licensed cosmetologist who has been working in the salon full time for 12 years. I’m the perfect stylist for clients who desire a “Healthy Hair Care Specialist”. Although I love quick trendy styles, I can admit that I may not be the best stylist for clients who are not ready to comit to a healthy hair care routine. I hold many certifications which include the following, but not limited to; Olaplex, Basic Hair Care Systems, Mazani, Design Essentials, Barbicide, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, Chi, Kenra, Its A 10, Micro-links, I-tips, Tape -In extensions, and many more. My other specialties are precision cuts, natural hair, silk press, relaxed hair, color, traditional weaves, and luxury extensions. I service a multi-cultural clientele of men, women, and children starting at the age of 12.
Healthy hair is my passion, and I absolutely love what I do for a living. The ability to make people look and feel good about themselves is such an honor. As it happens, making anybody smile is my superhero talent.
On a personal note, I was born, and raised in Houston, TX. I’m the oldest of 4 girls, a wife of 10 years, and I love being married. I have 3 boys, I’m a football, and basketball mom, an alumni parent at Prairie View A&M University, and I’m extremely family oriented.
I believe the mind is a powerful tool, and it can do anything we challenge it to do. In addition to my dedication to my family, and salon, I’m an advocate for battered women, and for children who need special education services in low-income areas. I’m a board member of Million Shades of Beautiful non-profit organization since 2014. I do volunteer work at at-risk after school programs in low-income areas. I’m a member of the Houston Livestock & Rodeo committee, and The Houston area Urban League. Being involved in the community is very important to me, and I am honored to do my part.
